Lanarte is a Dutch manufacturer of counted cross-stitch kits and is renowned for the method by which original paintings are translated beautifully into cross-stitch. The company began as a tailoring outfit in Holland in 1934 and is still run by the same family to this day. Throughout the years, Lanarte export market has expanded and their beautiful designs are now available in more than forty countries world wide.

Lanarte is always innovative, producing two collections each year which keep up with current trends and developments in home decoration. Put in simple terms, Lanarte would not be Lanarte without their constant search for new challenges.

Their designs include various themes such as Homes and Gardens, Classic and  Romance. Also they produce the wonderful collection of cross stitch kits by Maria van Scharrenburg.
